Washington Gardening Summary
Known as the Evergreen State, the state of Washington is a study in contrasts. Its western side enjoys mild Pacific Northwest growing conditions, thanks to the nearby Pacific Ocean, whereas the eastern part of the state has a more alpine climate, with colder and drier conditions.
